Entry 21: Cyberwelless - Handling Inappropriate content

I have seen anything online that made me afraid, uncomfortable or feel excited and guilty because I sensed that it was wrong.I would avoid the website if the content is inappropriate.

It was about cheating in the exams!I do not thnk that cheating is good because we do not learn anything to get it.We must work hard to achieve something we want to instead of cheating.

Entry 20: Cyberwelless - Cyber Addiction

I have 4 favourite computer games that are on Facebook.They are Pet Society,Restaurant City,Farmville,HappyFarm.I spend only 30 minutes but I will not know how long I play during the school holidays which might affect me by not spending enough time with my family.We can prevent Cybber Addiction by not playing computer games by changing our playing time to study.I would tell the Cyber Addict that he/she must control his/her feelings instead of thinking about the game everyday.People have feelings of not leaving the computer when they are playing which makes people lying down on dreamland while the rest are studying.
In the past I do not play games as I do not know how to operate the computer and stare at my parents using the computer.

Entry 19: Effects of Preventive Measures on Pupils

The school's preventive measures are good as they prevent us from mixing from each other that can allow virius to mix around.To my opinion,none of the activities have affected me.It affects me in my learning that in the cancelling of the High Achivers which teaches Maths that teachers would not teach in school even though it is not the GEP standered.I think that school is less interesting because that the activities are cancelled are fun to me!I do not think that my relationship will be affect me because I get to see my freinds everyday.I would study of play according to the phrase 'Study hard,PLay hard'I do not think that the activities outside school are affected.

Daddy Robin bought a new milk bottle during the Great Singapore Sales at $0.50.However,Mummy Di feels that the milk bottle is not user-friendly and requested Daddy Robin to buy another milk bottle.Mummy Di complained that she has to open the cap of the milk bottle each time she wants to find out whether Baby Issac has finished his milk.

Daddy Robin has decided to buy a brand new milk bottle for Baby Issac.He needs you to tell him what to take note of when he buy a milk bottle,in termsof its material,so that Mummy Di does not need to open the cap of the milk bottle to check on Baby Issac's milk comsumptin during each feed.

You are encouraged to presnet your ideas to Daddy Robin creatively.

My Answer:

Daddy Robin has to buy a milk bottle that is user-friendly and transparent.Mummy Di complained tha tshe has to open the cap of the milk bottle to find out whether Baby Issac has finished his milk means that the milk bottle is opaque adn Mummy Di cannot see through it,so Daddy Robin must buy a transparent milk bottle.

Self-Discipline

There was once a boy named Tom.Tom was a head prefect in the school and was in Primary 6 this year.He always done well in every work that the teacher gives and obtained high marks even though he played as much as the laziest.

One bright morning,Tom walked home as happily as a lark.As he turned into a dark and eerie alley when a few teenagers stepped out and stop him.One of them holding a packet of potato chips ,looked beefy and wearing torn shirt and pants that made Tom think that he was the boss convinced Tom to smoke as it is good for him.Afraid that the gang might hurt him,he went to the nearest 7-eleven to buy a packet of cigarettes.Since that incident had happened,Tom's came to school and hole late,forget to do his school homework and play computer games till midnight.When his parents tell him to stop,he would sulk or even scream at them.

When his parents and teacher found out about this attitude of Tom,his mother and teacher followed him after school secretly.They were shocked to see tom smoking with a group of teenagers at the void deck of his house.When he reached home,his mother and father canned him and shouted at him.The next day at school,his teacher made him stay back during his recess and after school for 2 lessons for each subject.When he realised what had happened,he immediately changed his attitued.He went ot school early,came home early,do his school homework and spent only 45 minutes to play computer games.When the PSLE arrived,tom scored the top in the whole level and got in to Raffles Insituition.

When his parents and teachers saw results,they were delighted that Tom had finally learned his lesson

Entry 18: Reflective Time for Science (Light Energy)

Write a paragraph on what you think life would be like if there was no light.
At night,I switch on the light when I go to the toilet,study room,look at the plants at the balcony,bedroom to read and when I watch the television.Light helps us in many ways.It helps me to read,study and observe.
Without light,I can't read,study and go out.If I go out,the lamp poles will be offed and people will go bumping into each other which may cause injury.

Entry 17: Classroom Cleanliness

For me of course I do not think that the classroom is clean.Papers greet you once you step into the classroom.It is very important to keep the classroom clean as we might not know when another virus strikes into our school.I can keep the classroom clean by picking up tissue papers,unwanted papers or anything to the floor.I clean the classroom by cleaning the white board every Wednesday.I learned from this astivity that it is also important to keep the classroom clean or else the next teacher will that comes will be very angry and annoyed as the teacher's job is to teah,not to clean whiteboards!The value that I have learned is Self-Discipline as it is our job to clean the classroom as we use it every day.
