Entry 16: Influenza A H1N1

H1N1 flu is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza that regularly causes outbreaks of influenza among pigs. H1N1 flu viruses do not normally infect humans; however, human-to-human spread of H1N1 flu virus is occurring, similar to the spread of regular seasonal flu viruses.

The Asian countries that have H1N1 virus are Singapore,Thailand,Malaysia,Cambodia,The Philippines and Vietnam.Countries prevent the H1N1 by taking their temperature daily.The symptoms are fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Taking of temperature is effective in preventing Influenza A H1N1 is good as when our body temperature is higher than the trigger ponit,it tells that the person has H1N1.I too,prevent H1N1 by taking my temperature daily,but we must also take note of the other symptoms of H1N1 so that we can win the war against it.
