TDD 2009:Intra-level Blogging Competition

Dear Whoever is reading this

Us,as a Singaporean must defend Singpore everytime.But that does not mean that we carry a gun each and kill any people that commit crimes.We celebrate Total Defence Day because it was the day that we fell to Japanese.Hopefully,we were rescued by the Americans who attacked them.I would defend my family,friends,the enviroment and Singapore.I think that we should defend them because they are the nearst to us.My family and friends helps me in my work.I would defend my family by making sure that they come home early.I would make sure my friends are not bullied or being insulted.I would protect the environment by making sure the parks do not stink or make sure there are no vandalisms.

Entry 3: My Visit to Thye Hua Kuan Hospital

On saturday,morning,I went to give chinese new year gifts to the residents at Thye Hua Kuan Hospital.I saw that there were patients with different kind of sickness.Some of the patients were on wheel chairs some need help to move.
I felt pity for them as they were not able to get back home to celebrate Chinese New Year with their families.The patients were filled with joy in their heart and were very touched.The patients thank us for coming early in the moring just to see them give them goodies.
I learned that these patients were unlucky,some of the patients family members came to visit them.
I can offer my service to the community by doing something that makes the patients happy as thay are bored.I can also make get well cards to cheer them up.

I think the school's vision, mission and values are useful as iti might help students when they need to talk about the school.I belive in the school values as we need Passion in everything we do.Intergrity is when we do something good.Excellence is something like Passion.Students do think of the school values as it is also useful to them,we also need Passion in everything we do.I,as a student,can live up with the school values by showing and doing it.The teachers should organise activites that concerns the school values.
