Entry 14: Kindness

Kindness means that you did something right.It is important for people to be kind so that people will know you well.People can show their kindness by doing something right.I help my grandfather to do the laundry and wash the dishes when I am at his house.I felt happy as I have done something right.I can promote the message of kindness to your friends by telling them what is right and what is wrong .

Entry 13: International Friendship Day

We celebrate International Friendship Day to know each other races.I do not know how International Friendship Day come about. I do not know what does ASEAN stands for .ASEAN stands for the ten countries.Singapore,Malaysia,Thailand,Veitnam,Laos,Indonasia,Philippines,Bruni,Myanner,Cambodia.I do not like the activities organised by the school on International Friendship Day as it is just a performance.I do not have any friends in the ASEAN countries.

Entry 12: Improving the School

I like the computer lab and the cyber cafe.Both places are air-conditional an ther are computers.I the toilet and the canteen can be inproved as it is smelly and incorsiderate people do nto flush the toilet and leave.I dislike the canteen because it is littered.
Toilets should be paints with cartoons or placed with plants.Canteens should be placed with dustbins and recycled bins.Stall owners should wear hats or the hair will drop in to the food.Pupils should help inprove the school by keeping it clean by not littering and reclycle items like cans,plastic and paper.

My CCA mates and I keep our bags in our CCA corner before and during the CCA.
To make sure our belongings will not be stolen,we write our names on our pencil box,water bottle and the rest.Bring your wallet with you when your bag is at a safe place.

Entry 9: Activities for Becoming Better Readers

Dear Mrs. Tan,

The following activities enable us to become better readers:

1.The first activity is to read more books to inprove your English.
2.The seacond activity is to check for the words that you do not understand and check for it's meaning in the dictionary.
3.The third activity is to read when you are free instead of playing computer games at hme.
4.The fourth activity is to go and attend enrichment courses.
5.The fifth activity is to attend creative writing courses.
6.The sixth activity is to write and essay after reading or it is considered reading a book and forgetting everything inside the book.(voacb,tenses and grammer)
7.The seventh activity is to speaking fluent and proper English.

Entry 8: Review of T1 Target-Setting Exercise

The purpose of setting targets for the various subjects is to make sure we get good marks for our exams.Setting targets is useful as when you want higher marks like 90 and you get lower than 90 you can do something to help you get 90 marks.I make sure I complete my work then revise it to achieve my target.my parents help me to achieve my target by telling me to revise for all my subjects everyday.I would try my best during my exams towards achieving my targets.The school teachers can help us achieve our targets by giving us more work and revion to do.

Entry 7: Festivals in Singapore

I celebrate Chinese New Year once a year.I celebrate Chinese New Year because I am a chinese and every race should have their own celebrations.i celebrate Chinese New Year by giving mandrin oranges and reciving Red packets called ang Baos.The other festivals are Hari Raya Puasa and. national day.Hari Raya Puasa is a very important occasion that is celebrated by Muslims all over the world. It is also known as the festival that marks the end of one month of fasting. The words ‘Hari Raya’ mean 'day of celebration.' Many mistake Hari Raya Puasa for the Muslim New Year but it is not. National Day is celebrate by every single Singporean.We celebrate National Day once a year is to tell uorselfs that Singpore has grown 1 year older.I think the celebration of the various festivals help in strengthening racial harmony among the various race in Singapore as different races can tell one another how they celebrate their own festivals.We can develop stronger bonds among the various races in Singapore by getting to know each other races.
